Murphy Goode Winery – A Really Goode Job
Linsey Careers provided recruitment consulting and screening for nationally publicized "A Really Goode Job." More than 900 candidates applied for this six-month position modeled after the Hamilton Island, Australia campaign for "The Best Job in the World."
The screening team for Linsey Careers reviewed videos, websites, writing samples and conducted phone interviews on applicants to determine the best overall fit for the position and the culture of the company.
Once the selection committee determined the Top 10 applicants, Linsey Careers worked closely with the Murphy Goode hiring committee to create a fun and informative interview event that included wine education, social media skills competitions and panel interviews.
A hiring process that is this visible does not go without both praise and criticism. Many lessons were learned and can be shared with groups including chapters of recruiting and public relations associations.
